Where It All Began

My love for cooking began long before Ashly & Olivia ever had a name.

I returned home every summer to spend time with my grandmother, Olivia. Some of my most treasured memories were made right beside her in the kitchen.

I remember helping her prepare meals, rolling little spinner dumplings between my hands, and sneaking a taste whenever I could. We also baked together; making pudding and black cake, and she gave me the freedom to explore, experiment, and simply enjoy being in the kitchen.

Those summers planted something in me that never left.

As I grew older, cooking became my own creative language. I’ve always loved imagining different flavor combinations, putting my own spin on familiar dishes, and creating recipes from instinct rather than simply following what’s written on a page.

Today, Ashly & Olivia carries that same spirit forward.

It’s comfort food influenced by the flavors and memories that raised me, presented with my own modern touch. Every menu is created with the intention of giving someone else what my grandmother’s kitchen gave me: good food, warmth, connection, and something worth remembering.
